1. How do I Register

2. What’s the currency in Italy

3. What are the Air Rifle Law in Italy

The laws on air guns in Italy differ slightly from most other European countries. All air guns with a power output greater than 7.5 Joules require a “European Firearms Pass” or specific authorization issued by the relevant Italian authorities.

Shooters will need to apply for these authorizations through their RGB, which will liaise with FIDASC (Italian Federation for Hunting Sports and Shooting), responsible for handling the request.

Italian legislation does allow for the temporary importation of air guns for sporting events. FIDASC will also provide a welcome letter addressed to the RGB representatives, in case they are asked for an explanation regarding their travel to Italy with air guns.

A form to complete the authorization process will be sent to your RGB at the appropriate time.
